SPEEDS® NANO Technology Upgrade
Special Event Expedient Personnel Decontamination System
SPEEDS® NANO is a self contained, tactical independent and fully validated decontamination system against CBRN agents, TIC’s and TIM’s for personnel decontamination. The SPEEDS®NANO system is packaged and delivered in an operational ready state. It is designed for a one time use.
SPEEDS®NANO employs modern, environmentally safe measures using NANOSWEEP™ wipes which have been developed expressly for surface decontamination and to reduce hazards associated with the decontamination process.
APPLICATION
The SPEEDS®NANO CBRN decontamination system is designed to directly support the tactical operations mission by providing a rapid, effective and versatile CBRN decontamination capability in the event of a CBRN incident.
For chemical agent decontamination in the SPEEDS®NANO system, the NANOSWEEP™ wipe replaces the Sorbent Decontamination System (SDS) as the decontamination medium. When combined with validated comprehensive personal protective equipment cut-out procedures, this approach provides a safe, effective and expedient means of decontaminating contaminated personnel.
